Edward Eugene Clark 16 March 1875 - 8 February 1957
|
Edward Clark was the son of Joseph Clark
and Hannah Harbin Clark. He married Alice
Presley, Elizabeth Dawson, and Minerva
Lucinda Childers.
When he registered for the military draft
during World War I, he indicated that his
occupation was Route Salesman for Hamilton
Carhartt of Atlanta, Georgia. (Carhartt, a
manufacturer of work clothes, including the
overalls worn by many of our rural ancestors,
still exists.)
At the time of death, his occupation was
listed as Route Salesman for a
manufacturing company.
He is buried in Bonaventure Cemetery,
Canton, NC.
