"Robinson Gaston Freeman was a farmer. He was five feet ten inches tall. At the age of twenty six on May 7, 1862, he joined the service and was a member of the 60 Reg't North Carolina Infantry. He died of typhoid fever April 22, 1863, in Tullahoma, Tennessee and is buried in the National Cemetery, Camp Martin, Greenville, Tennessee."
