Priscilla M. Holyfield (R. Marion Stevenson?), 1848 - aft 1887?
Note: Priscilla was listed as wife of Marion Stevenson in 1880. The Stevenson house was number 86 in that census and the Samuel Holyfield
house was number 89. As the death certificates of some Stevenson children listed "Priscilla Holyfield" as mother and the two Priscillas ages
match, it is reasonable to assume that Marion Stevenson's wife Priscilla is Priscilla Holyfield, daughter of Samuel Holyfield.

Note: In 1870, the Samuel and Jane McClure Holyfield household included Priscilla Evans, 22, "domestic ser't", Martha Evans, 3, and Mary
Evans, 1, along with Sarah "Lemmons" (probably mother of deceased Marybee Leming, first wife of Marion Stevenson. Sarah was counted also
in the nearby Stevenson household in this same census. We have not found the three Evans in 1880, or later. We have not found Priscilla
Holyfield in 1870. The 1870 census did not indicate familial relationships.
Note: In 1880, Jane Holyfield, age 67, was living with one grand-daughter, Jane, age 13, at house number 121; the Marion and Priscilla
Holyfield Stevenson family resided at house number 126.
