Terrell W. Myers, 1911 - 1987
By the 1910 census, Sampson and Gennie Myers were "Head" and "Wife" respectively of the
household which included two of Sampson's children from his prior marriage: daughter Blanche,
age 17, and son Herman, age 12.
By the time of the next census, in 1920, Sampson Myers was living alone, described as "widowed",
as the sole member of his household in the vicinity between the homes of Horace Deaver and
Walter Shepherd. Gennie "Shepherd" was living with her son "Teral Shepherd" in the household
otherwise comprising Fred Shepherd, head; Matilda Shepherd, mother; and Lula Shepherd, sister.
Gennie was listed as "widowed".
In the 1930 census, Gennie "Myers" was listed as head of her household with her son Terrell
"Myers", age 19. Sampson L. Myers was living with his nephew William Myers and family in Flat
Creek. Both were listed as "widowed".
