This building was home to Piney
Mountain Baptist Church,
Buncombe County, NC, from the
early 1900's until it was replaced
by a new building in the early
1980's.
Church records indicate that the
smaller front structure, with the
windows and doors (and perhaps
the steeple?), was added in the
1920's. Does anyone have an
earlier picture, showing the original
structure as it was in the first
decade of the century? If so,
please contact us.
