Andrew Jackson Riddle served during the Civil War.
Civil War records indicate that he enlisted in Company B,
NC 29th Infantry Regiment, either on 7 March 1861 or on
3 July 1861. (However other sources say that this
regiment was organized in September. If anyone can
resolve this discrepancy, please contact us.)
Records indicate he died in service on 25 December
1861.
