Thomas Erwin Shepherd

Thomas Erwin Shepherd enlisted for service in the Civil War on
either 7 March 1861 (age 15) or on 3 July 1861 (records list both
dates) in Company B, North Carolina 29th Infantry Regiment.   

On 29 May, 1862, he enlisted as a private in Company C, North
Carolina 58th Infantry Regiment. He was promoted to Full Corporal
on 15 Mar 1863.

He mustered out on 15 May 1864.
