(daughter) Stiles, 1787 - ?
Charles Stiles (Kessiah McConnell), 1792 - 1856
Others?
Note: * This connection is speculative. Several family trees on Ancestry.com indicate a daughter, of
unknown name, born this year or nearby. The more compelling suggestions are these: (1) Census
records which list a birthplace for Julia Stiles Hibbard say Lincoln, NC; likewise for some of these Stiles
men. (2) In 1821, Julia ("Jaley Hibbards") was among ten charter members of Cullowhee Baptist Church,
along with James, Jane, and Thomas Stiles. The Stiles men could well be Julia's brothers and Jane is
probably Thomas Stiles's wife. (3) Thomas Stiles's daughter Jane married Julia's son Charles Hibbard,
who may have been her first cousin.
